How and Where It’s Done

Our process is both ancient and modern. We work with porcelain clay which is very white and has a refined texture. Ray hand makes each item on the potterís wheel or in plaster press molds which we make as well.† Hand modeled sculptural elements and handles are added while the clay is still wet. When dry, Debra decorates each item using underglaze colors applied with various brushes and application tools. The items are loaded in our kilns and fired, glazed, and refired to produce the durable and glossy surfaces which enhance our work. Each item is inspected and displayed with pride as a unique and hand crafted item. All of our pottery is durable and safe to use.
